Installation and Setup of Netscape 6.2 for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

1.  Insert the SRCaccess Internet Software CD-ROM into the drive.
     The setup program should automatically start.

 

When the setup program starts you will see this screen:

2.  Click on the Button labeled Netscape 6.  You must click the button to the left of the text.

3.  When the Welcome Screen appears, click .

4.  Read the License Agreement and click .

5.  At the Setup Type Screen, click .

6.  The Quick Launch keeps portions of the program in your computers memory for faster startup.  If you wish to use Quick Launch click on the  box that says "Use Quick Launch for faster startup times when possible" and then click  .
     If you do not wish to use Quick Launch, leave the checkbox blank and click .

7.  The Start Install Screen gives you information about your installation options.  Click to continue.

8.  When the Activation Screen appears, if you do not have a Netscape screen name, select "I don't currently have a Netscape screen name" and click .  If you do have a Netscape screen name select "I have a Netscape screen name already", and click .

9.  If you selected "I have a Netscape screen name already" skip to step 10.  If you selected "I don't currently have a Netscape screen name" then you will see this screen:

     Enter the requested information to get a Netscape screen name.  Click to continue.

10.  Next you will see the Activation Complete Screen.  Click to start Netscape 6.2.

Before Netscape starts you may see this screen:

11.  Click to make Netscape 6 your default browser.
