Installation Instructions for Free Agent

 

1.  Insert the SRCaccess Internet Software installation CD into your CD-ROM drive.  The setup program should start automatically.

NOTE:

If the setup program does not start automatically click on the Start button.
Then click Run.
Type D:setup then hit [ENTER] (Replace D with the drive letter of your CD-ROM).

When the setup program starts you will see this screen:

2.  Click on "Bonus Applications".

3.  Next you will see this screen.  Click on "Free Agent" to start the installation.

4.  Select "New Install" and click "Next".

5.  Select the folder you wish to install Free Agent into and click "Next".

6.  Click "Next" to create the shortcuts..

7.  Choose the Start Menu Folder you wish to put Free Agent into and click "Next".

8.  Click "Start" to begin the installation..

9.  Click "Yes" to start Free Agent.

10.  When Free Agent starts read the License Agreement and click "Accept".

11.  On the Free Agent Setup screen, fill in the server information with news.wcc.net as the news server and mail.srcaccess.net as the mail server.  Fill in your email address and name and click "OK" to continue.

12.  Click "Yes" to download a list of news groups from the server..
